I work with notions of occupying and filling an 'empty' space. Culturally familiar items have been constructed to deconstruct our initial response to space. The works suggest function, which is then manipulated by small components to represent dysfunction. The work explores playful ambiguities as it occupies the space visually and physically. The Space series reflects upon the impossible, the ludicrous and the frustrating elements that are present with the idea of never being 'filled'.
